NMDC Ltd. a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India and a multi locational, multi product and consistently profit-making Mining & Mineral Exploration Organization is in the process of expansion and diversification activities both in India and abroad. NMDC is also setting up an Integrated Steel Plant at Nagarnar near Jagdalpur, Bastar District, Chhattisgarh State. The Steel Plant is going to be commissioned shortly.
For commissioning and subsequent operation & maintenance of NMDC’s Integrated steel plant (NISP) at Nagarnar, NMDC needs to engage Steel Plant persons having experience in operation and maintenance of various areas of Steel plant such as Coke Oven, By Product Plant, Raw Material Handling System (RMHS), Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, Steel Melting Shop (L.D. Process), Continuous Casting, Thin Slab Caster (TSC), Laboratory, Refractory, Production Planning Control (PPC), Water Supply, Turbo Blower Station, Energy Management, Safety including Gas Safety, etc and Personnel, Administration, Contracts, Materials, Finance, Legal . The persons (both Executives and non-Executives categories) who are having experience in Steel Plant will be engaged on contract basis in NISP, Jagdalpur initially for a term upto 3 years, which is renewable on mutual consent basis.
Eligibility criteria:
1. Candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate should be from the service of Central/State Govt PSEs / Private Sector Steel plant and should possess requisite expertise in any of the required area as mentioned in advertisement / notification.
The period of contract will be maximum upto three years initially or less as mutually agreed till the age of 65 years. The initial agreed period can be extended based on performance and depending on the requirements, till the candidate attains the age of 65 years.

Selection procedure: Selection will be made by a duly constituted Committee through Walk- in- drive (interview) to assess their suitability. 13.0 The Walk-in Drive will be organized in the following locations:-
