The Purohito ka Bass Village is located in the south-eastern direction of the Gram Panchayat Haminpur. It has a population of approximately 100 families and all people join together. The main income source of the village is agriculture and animal husbandry. Some families rely on small industries. There is a good management of irrigation in the village of Purohito. Irrigation is done by tubewell and wells.

India is primarily a country of villages. More than two-thirds of the population here lives in villages. Life of more than half of people is dependent on agriculture. Therefore, the development of the country can not be developed without the development of the villages.
भारतवर्ष प्रधानतः गांवों का देश है। यहाँ की दो-तिहाई से अधिक जनसँख्या गांवों में रहती है। आधे से अधिक लोगों का जीवन खेती पर निर्भर है। इसलिए गांवों के विकास के बिना देश का विकास किया जा सकता है, ऐसा सोंचा भी नहीं जा सकता।

गेंहू, चना, सरसों यंहा की उपज है | गाँव के प्रबंध के लिए पंच है | भिन्न-भिन्न समितियां बनाई गई हैं | सफाई समिति गलियों की सफाई का प्रबंध करती हैं | शिक्षा समिति गाँव में शिक्षा का प्रबंध करती है | ग्राम की आय के अनेक साधन है |
यंहा की सारी गलियाँ पक्की है | यंहा बिजली की अच्छी व्यवस्था है | गाँव में डिस्पेंसरी भी है | यंहा प्रौढ़ शिक्षा केन्द्र भी चल रहा है | यह गाँव सही मायनों में एक आदर्श गाँव है |
