Bits-Pilani and then IIM-Ahmedabad got higher education through admission. They got jobs of millions of them but they refused the job. He was passing along with his family in the slums in Madipakkam area of ​​Chennai. His mother used to make mid day meals in a government school. Up till the 10th, Sarath continued to study in some way because there was not much fees in public schools, but after the tenth, he had to enroll in college and did not have enough money for him. He started the book binding work in summer holidays. Seeing his work, he got a lot of orders and he got further education with the money he got from him.

After becoming a successful businessman, Sarath started social service. He founded the Hunger Free India Foundation in 2010. The aim of this institution is to make India "hunger free" in the next twenty years. Sarath is also helping every poor and needy people on their behalf.
