ICAR Mock Test

Instructions for Computer Based Test
The Computer Based Test will be conducted as per the following schedule.

1. A sample/mock test will be available for practice purpose and to give the candidate look and feel of the Computer Based Test (CBT) on ICAR website www.aieea.net after 2nd week of June.

2. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the invigilator.

3. The test will be of 2 and half hrs duration (10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.).

4. The test paper will be consisting of 3 sections as opted by candidate at the time of Online Application and all questions will have equal weightage, Those who have opted for PCB they will be offered the questions from the section Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Biology (B). Similarly, those who have opted for PCM, will be offered the questions from the sections Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Math (M). For PCA, they will be offered the questions from subject Physics (P), Chemistry (C) and Agriculture (A), while for ACB they be offered the questions from subject Agriculture (A), Biology (B) and Chemistry (C). All the three relevant sections/subjects will have the equal weightage

5. For subjects to be attempted in the Entrance Examination, depending on the choice and eligibility, please refer Item No. 2.1.

6. Syllabus for the Examination is given at ANNEXURE-I.

7. Each correctly answered question will earn four marks, with a maximum of 720 marks for the paper. For each incorrect answer one mark will be deducted from the total score. Question with no response indicated will not be awarded any mark and there will be no negative marking for that question. The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions, for which they are not sure of the correct answer.

8. There is only one correct response for each question out of four responses given.

9. The Ball Pens will be supplied to the candidates in the examination hall so they should not bring any type of Pen/Ball Pens with them.

10. All calculations/writing work are to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centre and on completion of the test, candidates must hand over the rough sheets to the invigilator(s) on duty in the Room/Hall.

11. During the examination time, the invigilator will check Admit Card and applicable Identity proof (Matching the candidates face with colour photo in the attendance sheets) of the candidate to satisfy himself/herself about the identity of each candidate.

12. The candidates are governed by all Rules and Regulations of the Council with regard to their conduct in the Examination Hall. All cases of unfair means will be dealt with as per rules. 

13. The candidates must sign and put thumb impression on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place.

14. A visually challenged (blind) or candidate having Locomotor disability can request for the services of scribe who must be one grade junior in academic qualification i.e. not more than X / Matriculation pass in the present case and should not be related to the candidate. For scribe, the candidate must submit a separate request letter, at least one week in advance, to the concerned Centre Superintendent of the Examination City Centre giving a copy of the PD/PC certificate issued by a competent authority. The services of scribe who should be from academic discipline other than that of the candidate, shall be provided free of cost by the Centre Superintendent. The scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking, confirming that the scribe fulfills all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe as mentioned above. In case later on it is proved that candidate has suppressed material facts, the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the outcome of result of the CBT. Such candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for extra time of 50 minutes during examination.
