62nd State Level Open Volleyball Championships
The district's senior volleyball team has won 62nd state level Open Championships. In the captaincy of Paramjeet Rao, the team defeated hosts Sirohi 3-1 in the thrilling final match. This championship was organized in Sirohi with the help of JK Lakshmi Cement Group by State Volleyball Association. On the four-day competition, the best sports performance, Jhunjhunun team's center blocker Manpreet got the best player award.
जिले की सीनियर वॉलीबॉल टीम ने 62वीं राज्य स्तरीय ओपन चैंपियनशिप जीत ली है। टीम ने परमजीत राव की कप्तानी में मेजबान सिरोही को रोमांचकारी फाइनल मुकाबले में 3-1 से पराजित किया। राज्य वॉलीबॉल संघ द्वारा जेके लक्ष्मी सीमेंट समूह के सहयोग से सिरोही में ये चैंपियनशिप करवाई गई। चार दिन चली प्रतियोगिता में श्रेष्ठ खेल प्रदर्शन पर झुंझुनूं टीम के सेंटर ब्लॉकर मनप्रीत को बेस्ट प्लेयर का पुरस्कार मिला।
Sunil, Riyaz, Vishal, Kamal, Sachin, Neeraj, Pravin and Michael are among the players who played on behalf of the district under the supervision of Coach Omvir Poonia and Rajesh Kumar. In the closing ceremony, SP Om Prakash of Sirohi, Secretary General of the Indian Volleyball Association Ramawatar Singh Jakhar gave trophy to Jhunjhunu team. Chairman Ramawatra Kulhari described the victory as historic Credit given to the Secretary-General of the Indian Volleyball Association Ramawatra Singh Jakhar.
कोच ओमवीर पूनिया और राजेश कुमार की देखरेख में जिले की ओर से खेलने वाले खिलाड़ियों में सुनील, रियाज, विशाल, कमल, सचिन, नीरज, प्रवीण और माइकल शामिल रहे। समापन समारोह में सिरोही के एसपी ओमप्रकाश, भारतीय वॉलीबॉल संघ के महासचिव रामावतार सिंह जाखड़ ने झुंझुनूं की टीम को ट्राफी प्रदान की। चेयरमैन रामावतार कुलहरि ने जीत को ऐतिहासिक बताया। श्रेय भारतीय वॉलीबॉल संघ के महासचिव रामावतारसिंह जाखड़ को दिया।
